　　Verbatim（威宝）在2007年6月对SmartDisk （占全美外置HDD 约16%份额）资产的成功收购，确立了MKM/Verbatim集团在全球外置HDD市场中的地位。凭借威宝品牌的优势及集团在全球移动存储设备市场上的渠道关系，MKM/Verbatim外置硬盘业务已经在过去两年中实现了600％以上的增长。

　　接着2009年收购Freecom，是MKM/威宝集团针对不断扩张的外置硬盘（HDD）市场所进行的又一个大动作，今年CES上Verbatim威宝趁热打铁，一口气发布了四款移动硬盘新品，引起业界不小的震动，某些产品上还有些许Freecom的设计风格。

　　这四款移动硬盘新品，分别是Titan XS, MyClone，MyMedia Server和 InSight。

　　Titan XS是2.5寸的产品，可能是全球最小的便携式移动硬盘，并配有橡胶外壳，抗冲击；外部有一个USB 2.0接口和其它外部设备连接端口。拥有320GB，500GB和640GB的容量。

　　MyClone系列，尺寸为115×76×15毫米，重量138克，带有备份软件和抗冲击功能，而且还有指纹保密设施。外部通过高速USB 2.0接口和其它外部设备连接端口。拥有250GB,320GB，500GB和640GB的容量。除了钢琴黑色，还会有红、蓝两种颜色可选。 

　　InSight系列，这款硬盘配备了小型LCD显示屏，即使不与电脑相连，也能知道硬盘的剩余容量。InSight的大小为151.12 x 85.51 x 16.0 mm，重164g，采用钢琴黑外部设计，按容量分为320GB和500GB两种，提供USB 2.0接口并向下兼容1.1接口，转速5400 RPM，8MB缓存。两款硬盘将绑定专业备份软件Nero BackItUp Essentials共同出售，售价分别为120美元和150美元。

　　MyMedia Server，是一款多功能网络媒体设备，具有NAS、Player等各种功能。可以存储、分享、播放各种文档、媒体，甚至可以用你的黑莓、iPhone等终端设备来远程访问资源。
